So I picked up my y8 manifold to go on d16y7. So far ive read a few threads about the swap so I know im going to have to use my y7 throttle body, injectors, etc. I also read about plugging the holes above the ports on a 99+. Luckily mine appears to be an older manifold and does not have these however the previous owner appears to have filled in another opening as shown on the far left of the first picture. What is this for and will I need to drill it out for use with my engine? Also are there any other modifications I need to make before I install it?
