What's going on forum? Here are the basics on my Civic:

I just purchased this Civic with 56,500 miles on it and I am giving it a nice once over tuneup. The question I have is on Engine Additives. I am going to hitup an oil change and wonder if anyone has used any additives like Lucas Oil Stabilizer, DuraLube, etc... and if you recommend any of them.

Also, opinions on best synthetic oil to use. Thanks for any feedback.

 

56,000 miles on a civic?

forget it. use regular 5w20 and use name brand gas such as Exxon or BP which already have engine cleaning additives added in.
