Its going to be a rough ride when you have a lowered car.. If you want a nicer rice. put the stock suspension on there

I have tein basics.. and its not a bad ride.. but you def. feel every bump in the road

Welcome to HCF! I know what you mean about rough ride, it makes daily driving a chore. [:@] Are those 18 inch wheels? Aside from springs, your tires have lot to do with ride comfort. Old treads and sidewalls add to a more uncomfortable ride as well. 18 inch wheels make for a very thin sidewall. Personally in an area with a lot of potholes, I wouldn't go bigger than 17s. IMHO. Nice ride BTW.[sm=smiley20.gif]

They look like 17's to me, w/40 series tires. But yeah as everybody else has said if you want a much better ride go with a good quality set of shocks, or you could go back to the stockk 15 inchers which would improve the ride a fairly good amount.

Best of luck with the car, and welcome to the forum!

I also have a 00 civic that is lowered, and I have the same problem, but I also have low pro tires which doesn't help any. There are a crap load of pot holes on my way to work. After awhile you just get used to dodging the pot holes. That's really the only time I have issues. But if it's bad all the time I agree w/ everyone else...well I agree w/ them anyways, but I know how you feel.

I doubt that helped any, but you can have my 2 cents anyways

Looks to me like it's just a cheap coilover system. That, coupled with bigger wheels and low pro tires is going to create a pretty rough ride. It doesnt look like theres anything WRONG with the setup that's in there, so I guess just champ it out until you can afford to get some quality parts in there.
