2003 fuel door won't open

Default 2003 fuel door won't open

cable not moving to open fuel door. i have to go in from the trunk & detach cable to open fuel door. Dealer says it will cost approx $160. ouch.

Go grab a haynes manual, and like tater said just do it yourself. That sounds outrageous so i'd do it myself too.....

Go to this web site Fuel Door Fix they have a repair kit that is very easy to install and will save you most of that money!

If you can't or don't wanna do it yourself...take it to a local mechanic (not the dealer) and see what he will charge (don't tell him the dealer said $160). I got mine fixed for really cheap a few years back...and it only took a half hour or so.
