89 honda civic hatchback

i have a 1.5 with trottlebody with a 4 speed in my civic would i be better off swapping the motor are is there a lot i can do to the 1.5 and what can i do to make it faster i would be very thankful for your input

so i guess u have the std, or the dx. if i was u i would swap or if price is and issue i would go for the multipoint conversion and definitially change for a 5sp. tranny@!

the multi point fuel injuection swap is the best bang for the buck upgrade, and you will actually get better gas mileage.
