Another new face
After ordering my first Honda today, (thanks to the convincing posts on this and other forums), I figured I'd join and say hello.
I'll probably be the old man of the forums (52years old), but I've been a gear head for a long time and should catch on pretty quick to the Civic thing.
Although pretty excited about it, I can't believe I had to pay sticker for the first time ever,....and I've been buying cars since 1970! I hated having to deal with a salesperson who actually wasn't begging me to buy the danged thing,....over the years I'd gotten quite used to having the upper hand while buying a new car!
But I guess when you want a model and style that consistantly is sold before it even gets to the dealer, that's the way it goes.
Anyhow I've enjoyed a lot of the posts here, and perhaps can contribute something in the near future.
For the most part I think I'll just sit back and learn.

Well, thanks guys,.....I was looking for an LX 5 speed dressed in "after five" attire,........Black!
There were none to be found in the entire state, with the exception of the one I drove Saturday, and waited 6 hours too long to buy,....it sold later that afternoon for the sticker price.
A different dealer found one in another state today and is working on a dealer trade so I can get it.
