Default New face here :)

Hey all,
I just started to contemplate modifying my civic, and figured id come here. This place seems to have quite a bit of info, and nice people. I have a 06 civic ex coupe that i picked up 13 months ago new. Its black and a stick. I am quite pleased with the build quality and the gas mileage. I was originally going for the si, but figured that teh ex would be sufficient, and wouldnt kill my mpg ratings. Its been growing on me to make it a justa bit faster, and was thinking about a cai, and headers/cat back system. Not quite sure yet. One quick question, i try and clean my car as much as possible, but i cant seem to get some of the bug marks off the front. I live in NJ, and usually this isnt a problem, but when traveling to NY/PA, it gets hacked up. I cant get rid of them with normal car wash (magwares (sp?)). Any help
note-pics may be up in the next few days
Thanks,
-Alex

welcome to the forum, real nice car.

i cleaned my car yesterday and i had a ton in the front bumper and on the side rearview mirrors. i washed it and scrubbed hard with a little sponge. then when i got out as much as i could i just put some Meguairs Wax over them. It easily took them out. You just gotta work it in and it should come out just fine.

Yea, thats what others have said too, paitence and persistance will get them off. Thanks for all the comments, and im happy to be here. I was going to go with a AEM cold air intake, and the headers/cat back after. What do you guys think/reccomend?
