My buddie wants to race...he's runnin a 03 Tiburon w/ exhaust. I got a 00 EX Coupe stock. If I cant win wut will help me out????

well it depends, is it a base Tiburon or the GT V6?? cuz if its the V6, i dont think you stand a chance, if its the base, you mite be able to take him....im just going by 0-60 times, the base Tib is 8.8 secs, and the EX is 8.4

you also have to take into account how good of drivers you two are, and your reaction time and all that stuff....it would probably be a pretty close race tho......IMO

and from what ive read, some good mods are Intake/headers/exhaust....for starters

 

well, the tib runs a 7.1 GT and if the EX is runnin an 8.4 or w/e, i think they will win......

 

with intake headers and exhaust, can i beat a gt tiburon (auto) if ive got a 00 ex coupe
