e brake

Default e brake

ive already posted this and there were so many answers i didnt know what to got with so heres the situation.i got a chrome ebrake handle but the stock one will not come off some say wiggle it for a long time and pull at the same time and others say saw it off.sawing it off seems risky say it still isnt correct what will i do then and has someone out there tried cutting it off tell me how it works and if thats the only solution ill do it but i would like to know everything u guys know about it before i mess my car up
