RE: getting first car
for ur first car, imo a auto, cause its not easy learning-starting out to start then let alone u have to wash ur dash to shift, and u have to have ur hands free during traffic, city use, but if ur racing and everything alone those lines, manual

Manual is a lot more exciting to drive IMHO, plus you get faster acceleration over an automatic car your equal. My wife used to hate manuals. Recently, she had to drive my car while her car was in the shop and now she loves manuals! 5-speed is the way to go![sm=smiley20.gif]

RE: getting first car
Here's the correct answer! If you want it for "show" only, and it's your first car, then consider getting an Automatic. If you want it for "go", consider getting a Manual 5 speed and then learn how to drive it. If you end up getting a "manual", try to learn on someone else's car first, it'll save you some money in the long run......(wink, wink).

RE: getting first car
here is my opinion. i am 15 and got my first car about a month ago. it is a 5speed. if you arent patient, then a manual is NOT for you. if any way possible, i would drive a straight shift to see if you like it or not. just my opinion....like all the others said if u go off and get a lot of mods and wanna race or anything, u should get a 5speed. it is pretty fun 2 drive a manual once u get use to it though!
