What are your goals for the car? Are you wanting more power? More fuel economy? Style modifications?

Is the 96 an EX/DX/CX etc? Coupe, sedan or hatch?

first of all, don't say stuff like "i wanna go jdm". do you even know what that means?

secondly, if you're looking for style enhancements, its all up to you. Its your car, so you decide what looks best on it. There are literally millions of pictures of civics JUST LIKE YOURS with every body kit/lip kit/wheels etc., under the sun all over the internet. Do some looking. When you're ready to purchase, ebay is your friend. Especially if you're on a budget.

Performance is another story. Researching, reading and UNDERSTANDING is key to building a reliable and fast DD. Also, money. Lots of it. Certain parts are ok to buy on ebay and cheap out on, like CAI or SRI's or strut bars. HOWEVER- for suspension or other engine mods you're better off buying from a reputable dealer, but only after understanding what you're getting yourself into. And they only way to do that is to RESEARCH.

no one here is going to tell you what to do. Modding cars isn't something that should be spoon fed to you. It should come naturally and be FUN. But unless you want to end up on the side of the road waiting for AAA to pick you up, you had better do some reading.
