Whats up everyone, My name is Tom and I'm obviously new to the forum, as well as Honda Civics. I own a 1994 Civic EX with a D16Z6 and a 5spd. manual tranny. Until recently I haven't really wanted to learn anything about Hondas (I originally intended it to be a daily driver) until I realized... I OWN A CIVIC... EVERYONE WILL TRY TO RACE YOU BECAUSE OF THE KIND OF CAR YOUR IN !!!! Now I'm not one that condones street racing, but in the event that I race someone(if they accept my challenge to go to the track and do it legally) I want to be sure I severely humiliate them... especially certain people I know that swear that my Honda can hang with their domestics... I want to prove them wrong. So with that in mind, I hope everyone here can guide me to my goals.

Well that's just the nature of things in the D...everyone thinks that because your in a sport compact, you wanna race like your an extra from TF&TF(either movie) either way, being a domestic owner myself, I wanna do nothing more than **** off the die hard domestic owners at the track. So thanks to those whom welcomed me, and I believe it was Forty 04 that said they were coming out for a meet of some sort... let me know, also, I'm Judging Director of the Draggin' Detroit show in July, anyone interested let me know, I'll send the info where needed.

here in suburbia michigan nobody races anything cheaper than a Z06 vette. oh well.
