Nah they never done the EG coupe with a vtec motor over here (uk) they only done the D series block 1.5 sohc 16v, was only the EKs that they started chucking vtecs in over here.

really?i was under the impression that the VTi was equipped with a B16. anyway, yeah, thats how it is here. well....we got the sohc vtecs in 92, but we didnt get the dohc vtec in a civic till 99.

The vti does have the b16 mate thats whats in my coupe but they never mate a EG vti coupe only the EK coupe got made into a vti.
