I'm trying to start a new thread in the DIY section, but it's telling me I don't have permission to do anything there.

Can any of the mods tell me why?

You want to make a DIY guide? That section is for approved posts only. I thought it has a note on there saying so. Oh wait... there is a sticky talking about it.
