Default Hey everyone.

New to the forum and car modding in general. I'm driving a 100% bone stock 04' EX. I've done my homework and I know that modifying the stock engine is said to be a waste of time but after some pondering the issue I've decided that I just want to get my feet wet and modify the existing engine and go the naturally aspirated route. I'm not looking to have the fastest import around. I'll be happy with something that looks and sounds great. Besides, even with a modded D17 I'll still have the best looking and fastest Civic around, considering I've only seen 3 others besides mine here.

Welcome to the forum.

Yeah, the D17 platform isn't strong with the honda crowd but some have built D17s. What are your goals? Are you wanting to do header, intake, and exhaust to keep it simple? Or do you want to go for a high compression build with something like Vitara pistons?
