Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and new to civics as well. I just bought a 1995 Civic EX and I have some questions to ask. First of all I've been reading up a lot on the different chasis codes and I was wondering if the EG only came as a hatch or a sedan. Also, I just looked at my vin and it said on there I had an EJ1 and I looked that up and it is a JDM; is the JDM model any better than the USDM model (which would be a EJ2).

i believe ej1 is a chassis code for the usdm 92-95 ex coupe

here's some jdm chassis codes that i know

ef = 88-91 civic/crx
eg2 = 92-95 civic 2 dr
eg6 = 92-95 civic hatch
eg9 = 92=95 civic 4 dr
ek2 = 96-00 civic 2 dr
ek6 = 96-00 civic hatch

i maybe wrong but i just read this sometimes last year, but those r the ones i remember, if im worng please dnt hesitate to correct me
