Hello Everyone,
MY name is Nick and i Live in Kentucky. I have a (auto) 97 civic Ex and i am wanting to do a motor swap.
I am curretnly looking into a (complete changeover)Jdm B16a2 (SiRII) obd2 swap from Hmotorsonline.com
But it will be an automatic swap. I would like to keep it an automatic, the swap is not REally ment for performance. just something to have some fun in etc.. but ive been getting bashed by other forum's for wanting/having an auto so please keep the auto jokes to a minimume. thank you. But eventualy it will be turbo'd but with upgraded auto tranny(bulletproof). but i would like to know if the b16 auto tranny with fit perfectly where my old Y8 tranny went? and Can i use the 96-98spec mounts that Hmotorsonline send's me or should i get some from hasport? also i wanting to know if anyone has done this swap (auto b16a2 in a EK)? thank's for the advice guy's.

 

first off welcom to the forum.....i think you should post these questions in the tech help section of the forum....you would deffinatley get faster responses to them....and no one is gonna bash you for havin an auto...so welcome and enjoy

Hello nick welcome to HCF. We won't bash you for having an auto. I have an automatic. Some people like it some people don't like it.

 

that is awsome because i love my auto. and on most of these other forums they wont even answer any of my threads. but here i feel very welcome. And from the few threads i have read there are alot of people asking about the auto b16a2 but i havent seen anyone really do it in a EK? but this is the best forum i have been to. And Thank you guy's for all the support.
