Well, the civic isnt mine, it's a friend of mine's and was just coming to the home of the civic to get some help with it

It's a 2004 Civic 4DR that she bought from a dealer but it has a body kit and the Acura "type-r" badge on it and I'm trying my best to figure out the engine that's in it. Ive done a bit of research and came across the SI being the hatch during those years but her's has the VTEC engine under the hood and was wondering if the person beforehand had done an engine swap or what.

Anyways, Also, was wondering what to get Intake/Header/Exhaust along with the preferred lowering kit.

Finally, what are good standard upgrades for the VTEC engine?
