Hey You!

And I own a 92 Hatchback... vroom, vroom!(well maybe somthin like kerplunk, kerplunk right now)!!
Hi! As you can see I am new here. I am also a 2 day new owner of an 09 Civic EX. Used to own a Rav but decided to get something a bit more gas friendly. I also realized that I need to learn more about cars and what better than a Civic then to start on. It sucks being that girl who walks into the shop and is like uhhhhhh yeah I think it takes sythentic oil. So hopefully I can ask as many questions here and get the help and advice! :]

Hi to all you Civic Fans,
I've owned new a 97 Civic Coupe EX, anyway I've owned quite a few used vehicules since (should have kept her). Last fall I purchased a 07 Civic EX Coupe, dark blue, 5 speed (she has ~28kmiles). On April 30th I lost my job and therefore need to reduce my debts....keep paying the mortgage. So I hope that I've not broken any rules here by placing this posting. I live a few hours West of Chicago near the Wisconsin border.
Thank you all,
ToughTimes

I've come over to the Honda side. We're a family of Toyota people and three years ago, I broke the pattern and bought a Mazda 3. Great little car, but someone at work was selling his 2005 Honda SE, only has 38,000 km on it.
It's in excellent condition, he didn't use it to drive to work (lives within walking distance) and rarely drove it in the winter unless it was to leave the city. Tires are in excellent condition, everything is working well, threw in the winter tires, for 10K.
I go pick it up at noon, Mazda goes to my husband and our two dying Corollas (1995 and 1997) are headed for the scrap heap. I'm really looking forward to driving the Civic. I have to go to Ottawa on Sunday - a 2 hour drive from Montreal, so I get to take it on the highway already.
