Default Hi from Canada

Hello all....Picked up a 1993 Civic LX 4dr 5 speed a few weeks ago to use as my Winter/going to work car. The car has 205,000 miles but was owned by a mechanic and well maintained. Engine was rebuilt ~80K miles ago and seems to run strong. I need to change the front brake pads and turn the rotors pretty soon. Might need to do front bearings too as they seems a bit noisy.

I have already swapped the instrument cluster with one from an Si to get the tach, and bought the digital clock off Ebay.

Right now enjoying the gas savings...my other vehicle is a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with the 6.1L Hemi. I get about 11-12MPG with that beast, but boy is it fun to drive, just not so much in the Winter. I had an 87 Honda CRX a few years ago as a Winter car as well. You can't beat the Honda's for reliability when buying an older high mileage vehicle. Hopefully this will last a couple of years then I plan on picking up a 7th gen Civic for a second vehicle.

Thanks, where I'm from they all seem to have rust by the rear wheel with this generation and anything older.
