Default Howdy!

Hey,
New person. I hope to beat alot of info out of you guys for my build up. just kiddin...
I don't currently have my Civic yet, so don't beat me with your precious camshafts you spent so much money on. I plan on getting a 96-98 civic coupe. I also plan on doing a complete motor swapout with a new b18 block and as new as possible tranny. I plan on turboing out to about 600 hp, but it will be my only car so a setup to adjust boost will be essential.

One quick question I have is....Does anyone know a really good pro tranny rebuilder? I want it built to accommodate high acceleration. I am more looking to build up a track car. I am not much for top speeds and fast drags, just want my car to be able to get accelerate fast and handle awesomely.

Well a 600 hp car will probably be able to accelerate fast enough for you. However having a daily driven, streetable, relible 600 hp car is another story. I think you may be aiming alittle high on this build. But the whole B-series turbo idea is sweat.

I don't think I'll have a prob with it, I'll just have to measure my rice grain by grain and not by handful, and I think I'll be ok. See, websites like Greddy, and Turbonetics, really don't give you enough info on what their kits are really capable of. I'll be posting up a thread in the turbo section to hopefully have people put in their two grains on a composition of products for a proper build up.

hi and welcome i just did the b16z6 swap and have the greddy td04h-19t turbo with the greddy type rs blow off valve and the type c 47mm wastegate and push about 10 pounds of boost and believe me its not the greatest set up but im sure you will have the acceleration you want and this is on my daily driver and i rarely run into problems but good luck and let us know how it turns out

www.Full-Race.com They have some 600HP turbo kits, but you will need a built tranny, $1000 axles, and a crap load of other stuff to put the power down. 600HP is a crap load of power to try and push out of a 4 cylinder and still expect it to be daily driven, but more power to you. I'd like to see you acomplish it.
