ok so here it is. i kinda rear ended a buick. so i kinda wanna get rid of my 1995 dx i think it would be a smart move but i want to get another civic but im not sure exactly wut one i want. i dont want a first generation but i want your opinions about wut a good solid civic would be with massive potential. thanks for the info.

k well im not much on the new civics cuz i just dont like the way look. well for starters i am not going to be able to do this in the near future but i will do it cuz it is my dream but i want to eventually drop an 18c5 into it and run about 15 psi. on a nice i/c turbo with maybe a75 shot of n.o.s. i know i have to rienforce the entire engine but i want to know wut kind of tranny i should get with it and maybe like a piggy back fuel system. wut car would be suited for this kind of project. im kinda lookin for a 450 whp daily driver. any help will be appriciated.

 

Your first problem is your engine. The C5's compression is too high to be running a turbo, your gonna want to go with a C1. I don't know that 15PSI will be enough to get you to 450HP, but its the CFM that counts.

 

k that was like speaking chinese to me. wut is cfm and couldnt i get lower compression pistons and how would i get less compression into the chambers in the 1st place. and i have always wondered why do i need low compression if i want a turbo? wut does it do for my turbo? how is it better? thanks for the help.

 

99 civic si is one the best base car if you want to mod it and their a lot less than a 06
