First time on this forum and just bought a new '07 Si Coupe. I am interested in making roughly 250 flywheel horsepower. I am a reletively new import owner and am used to domestic mods, so I need some advice. Can 250 horse be achieved without forced induction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

i have a friend who has the 07 SI sedan, he vowed to hold off any performance mods but he looked them up anyways, and ill check with him tomorow but i think it can be done because you should be pushing slightly over 200 now and with the basic i=h=e package you would be a few steps closer

 

I'm new to these forums too, but I assume i=h=e means intake, header, exhaust, right? I was reading the Honda performance literature and couldn't help but notice how much they rant and rave about the stock header and intake being the same length (which is desired, apparently) and about how good the stock equipment is. Isthe litjust a sell point;i.e., are they full of crap? Is the aftermarket stuff much better? I know how much breathing mods helped my extremely choked LT1, but I'm just so new to Honda that I haven't a clue. Anyways, let me know what your friend has to say, and thanks for the reply!
