Default just bought a turbo civic..advice?

So i got a 2000 Si with 300whp and the guy had the dyno and everything for it. I took everything apart to see if it was all legit n i was looking at the block to see the sleeves, i have no idea what i am looking at but does this look like a sleeved block? is it open or closed? he told me it was a benson sleeved but there are no stampings.

i no its dirty but its clean now

I'm not an expert on sleeves, but if I had to say so myself, those look stock. Doesn't look aftermarket in any way.

dam lol, The car was running 400whp for about 3years as his DD, I think there sleeved cause i doubt stock sleeves would last that long on that kinda power, It was detuned for the winter for traction , again i have no idea, if its stock im going to be upset cause i paid good money for a built motor and the car.

Looks stock, open deck.

B series walls can handle 400hp on a good tune with no problems IMO.

^^^ agree'd.

Though the previous owner did the right thing by detuning it. Not only was he probably not getting any traction, but anything over 300hp on the street is pretty much a waste IMO.
