I'm thinking I'm going to have to remove my bumper to get to them. It was getting dark so I didn't get a great look. I've got a 2k1 Civic and was hoping that I don't have to remove my bumper. If I do, anyone know a good method to do it myself? I'm new to the whole scene and was wondering if I have to have an extra set of hands to hold the bumper while I unbolt it. If I do have to take it off, is there a certain way to do it, or just start unscrewing things? Thanks!!

I do not believe you need to remove your bumper there should be some screws from under the hood I believe. not 100% sure though.

 

Yeah, the bumper had to come off. There are 2 screws under the hood on top, But there are also 2 more behind the fender well/Front bumper.

Anyone that wants these lights, keep this in mind. They look GREAT, but the bumper must be taken off, and the bracket on the wheel liner (to get to the last screw on each side of the bumper) will have to be replaced (it's plastic and will break when you remove the wheel liner to get to that last screw).

I got an 04 and the bumper needs to be just unhooked from the top but not fully removed... doesnt make a difference either way... put up pics. I put mine up in Appearance and my product review in 7th gen
