May soon be a civic owner
Hey all!
I'm Joe, 18, from central NJ. I'm looking into getting a hunter green 1996 Civic EX Coupe. It currently resides at a junkyard, but is in really good overall shape. Body is nearly immaculate, as is the interior. Engine runs, trans is fine, but it needs a clutch. Another big issue is the lack of a title. I'd need to find a title dealer or something to register it. It has around 115k.
The cost is my old car, a 1995 Volvo 850 turbo sedan, which, while fast, is a gas hog. I can't afford it any longer.
And even considering that, I may consider doing some mods to the civic should I get it. I'll have to see what happens...
So, how difficult is it to replace a clutch on one of these 5 speeds? Also, anyone ever deal with getting a title?
Thanks
Joe
