Right, I figure with gas prices getting as high as it is, this Honda is getting more valuable as it ages.

I'm going to get it repainted but I'm not really sure who to get do it. I don't want a cheap job done on it. Beside word of mouth, I don't know the best way to choose who to get paint it.

Hey you aren't to far from me. I'm starting my own custom body shop. As long as you dont want that thing painted in some crazy off the wall sick custom paint I could paint the whole car for around $2500 (color change) $1800 (same color as it is now)

Great, when I start shopping around for estimates, I'll keep you in mind. I'm going to have it repainted its original color

I just recently had my Civic repainted. I shopped around for a few quotes. Maaco had the lowest price. They ended up stripping the paint down to metal. I had them paint it the original light metallic blue color. I had them fix a rust spot on the corner of the fender also. I wasn't really shopping for the lowest price, I just wanted it done decently. The guy assured me the job would be done well so I took a chance on them. They really did a pretty good job. Here is a before and after pic. As you can see the before pic the paint was going bad on the roof and hood.
