Hello I bought a 1995 honda civic LXfor 200 bucks about a month ago with 142000 on it......so after a replacement of a timing belt and other neglected stuff including a new radiator.....it runs great...F.Y.I......the old owner put the crankshaft washer on backwards which ate the belt.......good for me, bad for him........lmao.......any way I will now use the forum to fix things like an airbag light that I think I caused, small amout of rust on the rear quarter panels above wheels, and of course hunting for anything that should be serviced at 142000.......anyway..........after a short road trip and city driving.......I cant believe 31mpg.........I have the 16 valve 1.5Litre engine

 

Sounds like a good purchase. What are your plans for it?

 

sweet deal man. i was gunna get a 99 lx but when we took it to honda to do an inspection, they found out it was a write off so i walked away and bought an 02 dx coupe. love it!
