Default Need help buying a CiViC

Hey guys!
I'm looking into buying a 1998 Civic and was wondering if you could give me any help or advice on the matter. I would like to change the engine as soon as possible as well to something more... substantial! [8D] What engine should I be looking at?

welcome to the forum[sm=hiya.gif][sm=hiya.gif] if your going to buy one and just swap out the motor, look for a car with a blow motor or with lots of km's on it, then you can get them for really cheap and swap it out, make sure the bodys in good shape, i would get a stock body (no kits and such) and do it up as you like, and take a look around to see if theres any rust on there or any visable problems..i guess you just got to talk to the guy if your buying it privitly and hope he's not screwing you around

How much cash do you plan on spending for a car? That'll give us a better idea of what you can afford to do.
