New Civic Owner (again)
Hello all,
Just bought my second Civic. I had one in college ('90 Civic hatchback), drove the wheels off it, and loved every minute of it.
I just picked up another one ('99 Civic DX hatchback) for my soon-to-be 16-yr-old son to drive. It's a great "starter" car - easy to drive, WELL used (300k miles), a little dinged up, but runs great (with a couple of exceptions, which I will seek help with elsewhere in the forum!).
Above all, it's a great car for him to learn/practice maintenance and basic repairs. I look forward to many weekend projects fixing up the car, and expect to bounce a few ideas off the great minds here in the forum.

Welcome to the forum!
300K is quite a decent amount of mileage. I am sure if the oil has been changed regularly, you should have no problems. Be sure to check on that timing belt if you are unsure of when it was replaced last!
