Hi there everyone, I just recently purchased my black 97 dx 5 spd coupe and I have been having a lot of fun driving it so far. I bought it dec 29th for $4k with 130k miles on it, it was real clean and a one owner vehical. I have been spending some time cleaning it up and trying to get it ready for some basic mods, like CAI, headers, F/F cat, and exhaust. So far I have changed all of the fluids and cleaned the engine bay out. One of the things I can really apreciate about this car besides the looks and handling is the fuel efficiency. My Grand Cherokee Laredo is a damn Gas Hog compared to this Civic.

Welcome to the boards! I drive a 97 dx now, its an automatic however. Glad to see some others with the same model, so we can share our experiences!

 

I have not bought my new camera yet so I used the one I already have (slightly broken sony i took to iraq)
it has been raining like crazy over here and i have been so busy with going back to school and work that i have not had the chance to clean her up again.
hopefully the weather will be good this weekend and i will be able to clean her up. I also have some maintenance to do on her too.
