Welcome aboard man! I have the Megan Racing cat-back, and I highly recommend it! Also, I would get an intake first, preferably Cold Air. Basically, it will give you a little more throttle response, which our civics severly lack in stock form. I'd have to say the most popular is probably AEM, but bigger names like Injen, and Apexi are great as well. Good luck, and happy modding!

Looked into that AEM intake. Found it listed for 187.99 with shipping. Check it out here Ebay AEM CAI and tell me what you think. Also, how hard would it be for a COMPLETE CAR MODDING NEWBIE to install this beast? How much would professional installation cost? Last thing...what color - blue, red, or polished?!?!?

Color: Depends on what you want your engine bay to look like, most people try to stick to one or two colors. Personally, I'm going with red and black.

That aem you found looks like it will work, i say go for it.

Go ahead and do the isntall yourself, the hardest part is getting the stock airbox out. Once thats done, its a breeze.

If there isnt a DIY here, I'm sure you can find one by searching with google or whatever.
