Default new guy, hoping for some potential

good morning to everyone. my name's thomas and im a marine in camp pendleton, ca. i just recently bought an 02 Civic LX. It has about 96000 miles on it, but its in pristine condition. i got it from a dealership and they told me the only other owner was a master mechanic for honda and he took excellent care of it. i paid about $7000 for everything. its stick, and i'm loving it. unless i should ask this question in another section, does my car have potential? the speedo goes up to 150 and i want to be able to use most of that. thanks and im very glad to be here!

it has a great deal of potential, just keep an eye out, san marcos has chevelle cops. If you want to race down there, Qualcomm sponsors an event every friday night for test and tune. anywho, welcome to the forum, and thanks for serving in the marines

There's potential definitely if you got the money for it, tons and tons of parts for Civics. My only suggestion to you is do your research and plan what you are going to do to the car, also set a budget for it so you dont end up broke. You could never buy enough for your Honda, its a matter of buying what you need/want.
Good luck and keep us updated with your progress and results, we also love pictures.
