hey everyone......i'm about to buy a 93 civic coupe.....and i have big plans for f/i.....

.what do you guys recommend for making big power?.......

should i do a swap or should i just turbo it?....i wanna make big power....at LEAST 400 to the wheels.....

wow, 400, you're looking at a big swap, beefy internals, big turbo, and one hell of a tune. just to let you know, x4 the hp of the car isn't always the answer, plus you would have no traction. so do whatever floats your boat, just don't be shy to use the search button A LOT.

yeah...i know it's gonna be a lot of work, and i'm in it for the long run, i was originally gonna get an fc3s rx7...but this is one hell of a steal

my tiburon is putting down about 290fwhp on stock internals....which is the reason why i'm hungry for more power here...lol

k20's are very good swaps, and i've seen stock k20 internals take 41 lbs. of boost with a good tune before throwing a rod. so i'd say go for a k20, with a turbo setup at around 10psi with a few more goodies and you can make around that power, but probably not 400, reliably that is

are you talking about the k20z1?

what kind of turbo kits are available for an eg civic coupe?....what brand/kit should i lean towards for quality/power?

a lot of money, a lot of time and effort, but the motor is strongas hell
