im not really sure what i wanna start with, but it will probably be just minor cosmetic things, at least until i get enough money to do some bigger modifidations. i really would like to get a new engine because the one in there now has over 180k.

theres no need to replace it as long as its still running, it should run another 180k if you maintain it. But if you want to boost it, i would recommend getting a b18 or another d16 motor.

Not a bad start; are you going things like a lip kit, wheels, drop, tint, etc? Or are you more into the body kits/crazy paint jobs?

And 180k on a honda is pretty much just breaking it in; maintain it and you could have double or triple that before it finally calls it quits.

Welcome. I recently got a 97 lx as well, got it from my cousin with 230K on it, I already did as much as I could to keep it going and now that i'm done the car is running stronger then the day I got it. If you really want to keep the car going just make sure you maintain the the car and get the fluids changed out and you should be fine.

Now that I'm done with the engine and trans (both stock and no mods) I'm starting on mods myself. Just planning things out for now.
