New Honda Driver
Greetings to all!
I am a brand new honda driver and I thought this would be a good place to start my learning. I recently bought a 2001 Honda Civic Ex 5speed and I would like to know is there any wisdom they would like to impart before I start my journey. To be frank I am not too intelligent about cars, so I am inviting anyone to help out as they see fit.
Thank you,
MM

Welcome to HCF!
I think the best advice I can give you is to maintain it well by replacing all your fluids on time, keeping up with your timing belt maintenance, not letting problems that come up stick around long enough to grow into bigger problem, and doing other things when needed like replacing brakes, tires, etc.
Treat your Civic right and it can last for a very long time.
Plus, driving a well maintained vehicle feels almost like always driving around a new car.
