New to imports WITH PICS NOW!
I just purchaseda 2005 Honda Civic EX special Edition. I really like this car but have not even a clue when it comes to tuning imports. I am a Detroit muscle guy and would love to hear any suggestions you guys can give me on where to go and what to do to get this new ride up to par. My only knock on it so far is the gutless 1.7L engine which I am not use to at all.
Help!!!

RE: New to imports
first off welcome. next, yeah we with the em2's have the red headed step child of the civic world. i for one, love it though, i currently run with the i/h/e bolt ons and a pretty sweet suspension setup, its a really nice and fun car to drive. throw some pics up.

Tell me more bro. What do you mean em2's and what are the i/h/e bolt ons your referring too? Where are some suggested sites to get parts/body kits/etc.
I have not picked it up from the delaership yet but as soon as I do, I will have pics up trust me.

RE: New to imports
em2 is the 7th gen coupes. and i/h/e is intake header exhaust. its pretty much the first mods that people do, opens the car up, lets it breath through the entire exhaust system.
question is, what do you want to do with you car?

RE: New to imports
I slowly want to make this baby into as much of a racer as possible while maintaining the everyday driveability of it. No drifting or crazy **** like that, just mor or less flat out power and style.

RE: New to imports
I am planning on coverting it to a manual at some point, however that will be way later in the modification stage. For now Iam really enjoying it being an automatic since I mainly drive this car as a commuter with a round trip of 150 miles a day. In Detroit traffic that can get very tiresome with a manual.
