Default NEW Member- 1996 Civic EX 4 dr, 86K miles. stereo needs

Just started driving 96 Civic EX, new to me, Mom passed and I am cheap, commute 35 miles each way in Atlanta Traffic a few days a week. joining for some stereo advice. need to replace head end. don't want real fancy, I listen to books on mp3, podcasts, my tunes and a couple online radio stations like Houston Blues, Northsea surf radio and of course spotify. I really don't like a lot of light on my dash so big screen stuff that doubles as navigation screen is out. I like ot keep things simple. I have other vehicles that are for trips and going out so I want basic and easy. I want a stereo with a din that drops right into the slot without looking like it doesn't belong. suggestions are welcome later I will look at better shocks and some air intake upgrades.

the air intake will be just for noise doesn't give you any benefits on the d16
aa for stereo just go to www.crutchfield.com
dont buy dual, boss, axxera
jvc, kenwood, sony your typical audio brands anything of your choice that has bluetooth will suit your needs. im not crazy familiar with all the variations with years and such but on my 2000 a double din is a perfect fit a single din will definitely stand out a bit in the dash. it shouldn't sit out any farther than the original radio maybe even sit back a bit further. it will just be an obvious change in the dash.
