Default New Member-Looking at a 2003 Si

Hey,

New member here. I'm looking to buy a 2003 Civic Si. It's got 12,300 miles on which is pretty low.
I've been looking around on the new to see if there's any problems with these cars. I didn't find any, plus it's a Honda. Seems like some think it's ugly, but I don't, I think it's cheap and fun to drive. It's not fast, but fast enough for me, and man, are the seats confortable!!

Are there any problems with these cars that I should be concerned about??

Thanks!

A friend of mine bought one of those when they first came out and as far as aesthetics go I kinda like them myself. The '06's are sexy as hell but tthe price is also a wee bit different too!!! well if you like iut I say go for it!!! but thats just me!!

Go for it. They are nice and will last a long time. But the shifter on the dash is kinda weird.

The shifter on the dash is a great feature in my opinion. I have an 02 Si and I love it. Is also a great way to get people, say hot women, interested in your car. But thats just my experience. [sm=smiley20.gif]

thx...

I might get it. I'm going from a Nissan Titan to, possibly, a Civic Si-BIG change!! But the gas mileage is killing me in my truck, and it ain't gonna get any better.

The car's only got 12,9XX miles on it. Blue, wish it was black, but hey, not the worst color.
Also, I've noticed that almost all Honda's are really expensive right now, especially with private parties. Dealers almost have better prices, if ya' shop around.

As for the shifter, I think it's a bonus-it's by far the easiest manual I've ever driven!! It's not the fastest car, but fun to drive!

I wonder how hard it would be to get a turbo on the thing...???
