Hello! My name's Austin, and I'm obviously new here. Little bit about me to start:

I'm 20, live in southeast Wisconsin, work in a warehouse, current daily driver is a 96 Pontiac Grand Prix sedan that I bought myself at 16. She has 173k on her now, and while I love the car and have a lot of plans for it, reliability is starting to become a concern, especially with the 3100's fragile intake and head gaskets. Considering that, and the fact that 17mpg in a slow car is getting really old, and I am looking at a second car.

I would love to have an EG, but finding one around me that isn't rusted out or riced out is proving to be difficult. I am going to look at this '96 EX tomorrow: 1996 Honda Civic EX 1OWNER!! Power Options 5spd Sunroof LOOK!!

It is almost identical to my uncle's Civic (which isn't his first by a long shot; he's owned at least 2 Honda race cars that I can recall, one of which, an '84 CRX built to ITB specs, he still owns) and has almost exclusively owned Hondas for as long as I can remember. He is urging me to go this direction, and if I can grab it for the right price, I might.

I will definitely want to mod. My GP is lightly modded, but I have a lot of stuff in the works on it. For the Civic, I'm thinking projector retro, LED tails, drop, short throw shifter, and maybe an intake and exhaust. I would love to swap it to a GSR or turbo it, but am not sure how that works with OBD2 testing in my area. Besides, I need at least one reliable car
