hey guys my names brett im from south Ga..i just recently bought a 97 civic coupe dx from a guy that wrecked it and been rebuilding the front end. its 5 speed with short throw, AEM intake, header, and magnaflow exhaust. i was told the engine is a D16Y8? not 100% on that and im unfamiliar with this field. my other vehicle is an 06 crew cab sierra z71 cammed, stalled, headers, 6.0 swap, built top end, etc. im very active on perfermancetrucks.net and gmfullsize.com and am hoping to learn and contribute to this site

Stock DX's came with the D16y7, but swapping to a D16y8 would be easy work.
