i was poking around and saw this site. i have a 96 civic lx i was going to sell but now keeping it. we had are ups and downs but why not. its been broke into several and even stolein last year. I up graded to a stage two clutch and lasted a hole 4000 miles and it was not pretty when it went. i got rid of a lot of things, hood,rims,brake kit,lighting kit ect ect.....but now looking for something to do with it but can't get a motor swap...just bought the wife a 06 ex/nav.....there is a huge differnce but i like driving the 96 better it feels like it has more power. {even with the 3/half drop on it} i also had a 02 av6.traded in, a 01 ex civic and a 91 lude si. both where wreaked......not my fault.

 

Sounds like you have bad luck. yeah the older civics feel faster because of the weight difference. I think considering your luck get an alarm first.

 

sorry never list the modds that i still have.........civic lx -----stage one clutch, cat-back, protype intake{looks like a muffler type}, jdm head lights , black alttezza tails, new viper alarm, coil overs with shocks{3 half drop}, glow gauges, short shifter, complet upgraded sterio, 5% tint, oem spoiler, panted trim to match along with side skirt thing and the do look like side skirts now.

 

Dang you have some bad luck..but sounds like its not in that bad of shape.....what are you lookin for?....show or GO?..

 

hey man that sucks about your luck. but i recommend you get that motor swap asap. i love my motor swap and i am glad that i got rid of the d for the b. good luck and [sm=welcomesign.gif] to HCF

 

go of course and alittle touches here and there..........think about the swap thou...mite have a new job and company xploder. if thats the case the old girl is gong to have a lot of down time coming to her
