It's a JDM D15B non-VTEC. You probably have this on the back, right?

Oh and I think a D15B7 valve cover gasket will work (92-95 Civic DX/LX)

Wikipedia says the JDM D15B non-VTEC has 130 HP but I highly doubt that info is correct. You'll have to do some searching.

no. you have a 92-95 usdm civic which has the d15b7. he has the d15b which is a motor from japan. so you do not have that block off plate.

Oh and to give some more details about that JDM D15B... the block off plate is there because the engine was originally Dual Carb'd in Japan. There was a mechanical fuel pump where that block-off plate is. When the engine was swapped into your car they used the MPFI (multi point fuel injection) system that was already there.

And the reason I doubt it has 130 HP is because the OBD1 D15B VTEC has 130 HP... so it sounds like someone made a typo. I think it has more like 102 HP, like the D15B7.

wow thats wierd.
When i bought my engine it came with that block off plate too but i never knew what it was for lol. ( i got my engine from the ones that come from japan lol. the ones they sell with 45-50k miles on em.)

and yeah i dont really think they come with 130hp.. i think its a typo too.

i just looked it up, and i guess JDM engines do have more hp due to higher compression... not sure if thats right tho. seems like too big of a difference dont you guys think?
