Hello all. My name is Tim and I have an atomic blue '06 Civic Coupe EX. I love it except for an irritating problem in the CD player. Please read my post "Problem with Random Shuffle playing WMA files" under "Honda Civic >> Your Ride >> Audio/Visual Electronics".

I live in Aliso Viejo, CA. My car, before the Civic, was a white '93 Acura Integra GS that I have driven for over 247,000 miles. The Integra was beginning to age rapidly and I've been wanting some modern features. I'm not much into the technical details of my cars; I just like the style, exterior and interior, the reliability and driving fun. I hope to make some friends here.

 

welcome to the forum, as for your problem i would take the car back to the dealer and have them look at it

 

Thanks for the advice, already did, Honda doesn't consider it a defect.

 

i keep telling you it's not a defect. lol.

just because it doesn't play more than a certain number of songs doesn't make it a defect.

it's a software limitation.

 

If you are talking about running say an IPOD through your stereo, then not a defect. Like was previously stated, Honda designed this software to run through an existing system that was not intended to have this sorta need. Thus it runs on standard shuffle. you wanna fix the problem? Run an FM modulator and you will get the best of the worst. but the problem will be fixed.
