Hey everyone. I just got a 01 civic lx. it is plain and pretty ragged out. what is the best thing I should do first to get it up and running good?

5 speed? auto? just remember these 3 letters. H I C they will always do the trick when you start out with your ride. header, intake, catback. try those first and see where you're at. if you have anymore ?'s, just post them and i'm sure that we will help you out the best we can. and you should post some pics of your ride as well. welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum RD! I agree with Ineedhp... but catbacks arent my cup of tea.

Thanks a lot for the info guys. Is it better to get the ram air or the cold air intake? What kind of headers would better suit my ride?
Any help help would be appreciated.

it's a header. you only have one. but in my opinion, megan racing makes a good one for the $. that's what i have and i like it. as far as intakes? there has been alot of controversy over who's the best. imo, an ebay intake with a k&n filter is just as good. i would recommend a cold air. got any pics of your ride?

it depends on what you plan on doin w/ ur ride and what kind of environment u live in. if you live in a dusty or rainy place u dont want a cold air intake
