Default newbie!!

Hey my name is doug and i just purchased a 1998 civic ex and i love it!!!! Of course, i would love it more if it was a five-speed, but oh, well...

What i need help with is- i bought the car and it was lowered which is nice- but it's a little TOO low for our terrible Cleveland streets! What is involved with lowering a car and how can i "un lower" it, if that isn't a horrible crime.

Any help will be really appreciated!!!!

welcome to hcf! i'm from ohio too, so i know what it's like. but like sacs said, check to see if it's coilovers or just plain springs. if it's coilovers, you'll be able to raise it back up with a spanner wrench that comes with coilovers. if not, then you might have to get some new springs or just buy some coilovers so you can control how high you want your ride. in the worst case scenario, you might have cut springs which is pretty gay and a hcf felony! if you don't have them already, may want to get some good quality coilovers. good luck and welcome again!
