...from the Seattle area (here it is July 21st and raining hard, go figure). Have an 83 Civic 1500 we bought brand new and still have all the original paperwork. Still running but did not license last year since figure it would not past Washington State's bad breath test...and the carb needs a rebuild. Since after the first of the year will be past the emmission requirements, the plan is to swap out the carb for a Weber conversion. The car is clean, straight with 130K. Hope to learn from the forum and share back the same. Casey

Drove the Civic for nearly 20 years without a radio (analog days) till my daughter insisted I install and cd player since I was driving her to school everyday. It is a clean sweet ride and since I have talked about fixing the carb issue my kid wants to take it to college with her to use...gotta say something about how nice it still is. Gonna post a question about carbs and will share my experiance and photos with others. Thanks for the welcome!
