Well as you can tell I'm a newb here, I bought a 2006 civic two door, automatic. I don't think its a vtec I know it doesn't say vtec on the car or valve cover. It has the factory premium sound system with the in dash sat/nav. Its my second honda my first was a 95 DX 5 speed, it had a 2 and ahalf inch exhaust with out the cat (loud as hell). But other than that I've had all 4x4's and still have a 4x4. Put I'll post up pics of my new ride.

I would look into which motor you have specifically. (R18..something), go to wikipedia and look up the specs.

 

I looked in the onwers manual and it gave me two motor type a sohc vtec and a dohc i-vtec I know mine is the sohc.

 

Wiki said an R18A1 is it good?
