look under the car, if you see a new pipe coming from the middle of the car all the way back, it is a catback. If it is just the muffler(the last piece) then it is just a tip.

 

OK well the muffler should be right before the tip, right? I'll have to check tomorrow in the light but from what I've looked at it might just be a straight pipe. If that is the case you'd think it'd be louder though, I thought. Check out the pics that I have posted and let me know if you need more.

From the look of the pictures it looks like it is just the tip that was changed. It looks like you dont even have a muffler, that exhaust must be extra loud.

This is a picture of my catback notice how it is chrome and very different from the stock tailpipe.
Sorry for the small pic, I am looking at the middle of the car from the back.
