Hey all! .. i was recently in a rediculous car accident .. totalled off my '84 Topaz .. had her running like the day she came off the assembly line .. so, its been a long nine days of healing and stuff (broken bones, stitches, sprains, depression etc.), and along comes the '89 DX hatchback. Caught my eye in a small dealership on my way to the doctors the other day. I also own a mint condition '87 Fiero GT, but, couldnt afford to plate two cars this year, also the 2.8 in her is a huge hog! The gas milage in the Civic should be a great change!

 

welcome, pretty soon there wont be any cars left from the 80's for you, lol im just messin. what kind of gas milage does the fiero get? my first car was an 84 s10 blazer with the 2.8 and it got 23mpg and it was a peice. lol weight reduction (aka rust)

 

Haha ... mine gets about 27, 28ish. The car is completely fibreglass with a lightweight frame (spaceframe tech.) Weighs only 2000 lbs! .. .but enough abou her, missin drivin her so much this summer! But ya, snagged an 89 DX for about 2 grand this week. Its in decent shape .. has a minor tranny problem (abnormal rattling noise that comes and goes) and a couple issues with interior and exterior lighting .. but i mean come on, ive owned a Fiero for 7 years, i think i can figuer this little car out easily! haha
